During the launch of the Honor View 20, it was also announced that the new flagship smartphone will be able to run Fortnite at 60 FPS (frames per second). This high frame-rate option is currently available for iPhone users and it appears that the View 20 could be among the first Android smartphones to get it.

According to Honor, the View 20 that’s powered by a Kirin 980 processor is capable of delivering an average frame rate of 59.13 fps while the jitter rate is claimed to be 2.82%. Although 60 FPS offers a more fluid experience, it is worth pointing out that playing at high frame-rates is very processor intensive and it could drain your battery life faster than usual.

Unfortunately, Honor has not provided any dates for the special Fortnite game release. When the Galaxy Note9 was announced, it was one of the first devices to get the game via an APK download. This means you will have to download the game manually and you won’t be able to find it on the Google Play Store.

It was also revealed that there’s an exclusive Honor Guard skin outfit that will be exclusive for Honor View 20 customers. We expect the 60 FPS option to be available on other high-end flagship Android smartphones soon.
