My S7 got water damage just under 12″ from surface for a snap of photo and they they have the cheek to ask me pay almost 2k to replace the main board. Just don’t trust what they advertise. Looking for a way to get justice done. At least to ask Samsung to remove the waterproof claim. It was a great phone until I stuck it under water for a picture. The advert and spec induced me to do it.

You know right there is a diff between water resistance and waterproof and swimming is not consider as waterproof…if u want to swim with ur watch, buy watch sport or a newly announced galaxy watch

no. still the same. I got the 1st batch of gear sport. 1st time taking it to swim after brought it for 5 months, water mode on, no even started, just touched the surface of the pool, it went bootloop until its battery die.

Sent to Samsung Service center, the technician told me water went inside ?! Although, they replaced a new unit to me and they voided my warranty…. i had actually inquired further on how was happened by calling to the samsung's call center but no response till today.

Very disappointed with Samsung's product and its customer service. Wont not recommend to other and go for 2nd purchase.
