You can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note9 from Celcom this Friday

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is launching this week and it looks like we don’t have to wait too long for it to come to Malaysia. Celcom will be offering exclusive pre-orders almost immediately after the global launch.

According to their Facebook post below, you can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note9 as early as 10 August 2018 from Celcom. No further details were provided but based on last year’s Galaxy Note8 offering, you can expect a 24-month contract on a Celcom postpaid plan of RM98 and above.

Apart from Celcom, we also expect other telcos such as Maxis, Digi and U Mobile to offer pre-orders for the Galaxy Note9 as well. Based on what we’ve seen so far, the Galaxy Note9 base model with 128GB storage could be priced around RM4,000 while the 512GB storage option is expected to hover around RM4,800-5,000.

The Samsung Unpacked event will be streamed live at 11PM (Malaysia Time) on Thursday, 9 August 2018. In case you missed it, here’s what to expect from the Galaxy Note9.

UPDATE: Celcom has removed the date from their Facebook post.
