UPDATE: DiGi has tweeted that 16th December delivery slot for iPhone 4S has been filled up.
UPDATE 2: We compared all 3 iPhone 4S telco plans. Read more here.
Digi has unveiled its iPhone 4S plans and prebooking today ahead of its competition. In terms of plans, they don’t differ much from its usual iDiGi 88, 138 and 238 offering. For the device, they have revealed the Malaysian RRP of the iPhone 4S as follows:
If you purchase an iPhone 4S from DiGi, as usual they will subsidise RM200 off the device price which makes the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB iPhone 4S offered at RM2090, RM2390, RM2690 respectively. The bulk of the subsidy from DiGi goes into the monthly plans which ranges between RM33-82/month depending on plan you pick. So if you take up iDiGi 88, it goes for RM55/month (with auto-billing) while iDiGi 238 is offered at RM156/month (with auto-billing).
With all that monthly subsidies, the iPhone 4S 16GB is effectively going as low as RM242 on iDiGi 238, provided you fulfill the 24 months contact. Head after the break for individual breakdown of each plan.
To pre-order now, head to the Online Store which DiGi says they will start delivering on the 16th December itself! Unlike Celcom and Maxis, this is the real deal where you are actually buying the device online.

Exactly not worth to digi! Wait for celcom and maxis.if not much different. Order from apple store!
Exactly, hopefully maxis will offer a prepaid plan no no contract plan (idata)
Prepaid plan for Iphone. No data plan Iphone just a stupid phone….
No difference from old plan. But cheap monthly subscription. RM55/month and get 1GB data. half price of iValue 1
You all are just stupid idiot. All plan are the same just depends on whether telcos wanna subsidise more on phone or plan. If u calculate the total payment for 2 years, digi one is cheaper than others. With maxis u need to pay so much every month and plus tax of rm6 every month if u subscribe for 100rm every month and exclude SMS to other networks. The rm100 is actually rm100+++. Please lah calculate it deeply don't just see the iPhone price then say the plan is expensive. Some people use the free SMS call and data every month at more than rm55 so they want the cheaper plan with cheaper iPhone. Not that cheap but already cheaper than retail.
I rather pay additional RM200 without 24 months bond, and I can switch to any plan at my wish;
Agreed! Perhaps they should offer the contract ranging from 6 – 24 months instead.
If u see properly, the subsidy is more than RM200.. Their subsidy is reflected at their monthly commitment not on their phone, unlike celcom n maxis.. So if u pay full price for the phone from apple store u will end up paying more on the monthly charges depending on your usage
agree, digi is the most worthy plan among all. if you know to calculate it deeply.
everyone has their own preference, if you want to go for digi, go ahead. In this case, digi seems the perfect plan for price saving, but in term of coverage, did digi still won? Do your own judgement.
The key to winning this war now all depends on how Celcom packages their iPlan 68.
And if Maxis offer a lower than Value 1 plan. Their 3GS plan during raya is pointless.
Awaiting celcom price review. Should b similar like previous rate
I would take the Digi plan unfortunately their Sarawak coverage is just bad.
I guess I'm gonna order it from Apple Store its only 200RM and um free from any contract, do u guys know any authorized seller in kedah ?
If you want contract free, don't buy from telco, get from Apple store.
I am foreigner will it be difficult to sign a contract ?
and does apple have retail store or they only sell through their E-store ?
thx for the price reveal DIGI..however..apple store is still the best choice
"there is no stock at this moment."
can i purchase without a contract from anyone of the telcos ??
why not get it from apple store?
if i did so how long does the delivery take ?
Digi doesn't offer installment plans anymore?
ok. android here i come
You are right. I totally agree with you, Bangbang.
Disappointed on DiGi's iPhone 4s plan, just because of RM200 savings, we've to bond for 24 months plan.
