The local e-Sports industry is set to get a boost in the form of a RM10 million fund allocation via MDEC, as announced by the Minister of Finance at the tabling of the 2019 Malaysian Budget (#Belanjawan2019) today. The intent is to accelerate the growth of industry-related skills such as software engineers and game developers, among others. Typical of the tabling of the budget, details have not been announced at the moment.

#Belanjawan2019
