The Huawei Y6 (2018) carries a retail price tag of RM619 (inclusive of GST) and it can be yours for free when you sign up for Celcom FIRST postpaid plan of RM98 and above. The device is also available on Xpax’s new postpaid plan and it’s going for RM199 on the XP79 plan and RM289 on its lower XP50 plan.

During sign up, you’ll need to pay an upfront fee of RM450 if you’re taking up a Celcom FIRST postpaid plan and this amount will be used to offset your future bills. There’s also an upfront fee of RM150 for Xpax XP50 and RM250 for Xpax XP79. The device is tied to a 24-month contract duration.

Over at the rear, it gets a 13MP main camera while the front comes with a 5MP selfie camera that has its own flash LED. For a better music experience, the Y6 2018 gets Huawei Histen feature that optimises sound delivery to simulate theatre or concert hall effects through your earphones. The loudspeaker claims to be 78% louder with a rated loudness of 88 dB.

Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery and out of the box it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin on top. Celcom is offering the device in either Black or Blue.
