Nokia 7 Plus Malaysia

If you were thinking of picking up a Nokia 7 Plus today, you would be disappointed. The latest Nokia smartphone was supposed to go on sale in Malaysia today but it will be available for purchase by the end of next week.

According to Nokia, there were some challenges with the phones reaching Malaysia but it will be hitting local stores next Thursday on 26 April 2018. In case you missed it, the Nokia 7 Plus retails for RM1,699 and it comes in Black/Copper and White/Copper. If you’re looking for the entry-level Nokia 1, it is already on sale at RM339.

To refresh your memory, the Nokia 7 Plus gets a large 6″ Full HD+ display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

For taking pictures, it gets a 12MP f/1.75 + 13MP f/2.6 telephoto camera combo at the rear, while the front comes with a 16MP selfie camera. It has a rather large 3,800mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. The Nokia 7 Plus is an Android One device and it is already running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Nokia fan

Just not competitive at that price. Expect a quick price drop with the incoming honor 10 and expected reduction in the View10 price.

But this Nokia has a guarantee update of 2 to 3 years right? Don’t think honor / huawei phones can compete especially in term of timely manner.

Its a fact that it will have faster and longer updates than the Honor phones. The problem is the majority of people in the market for a sub RM2000 phone will not look at frequency of updates as the main factor when buying a phone. It will be the best specs they can get for the cheapest price. In fact Huawei can argue they are giving you more value with their added ecosystem of apps compare to a stock Android experience.

I'm rooting for Nokia but they need to get their price game spot on

that’s so correct, frequent updates suppose to be the standard from Android one . but it’s not right the concept of saying we should pay more of it !!!

Not so bad but not so good either, so-so phone. The price may slighty quite high.

Are all phones with Android One program receive timely OS update as pixel phones?

1.8k for SD660 can’t compete with China phones.. i thk they are betting on Nokia branding alone.

Nevertheless move to Android One is gooding but now makes it the most expensive Android One device to date… So that’s some sort of recognition as well.

sorry Nokia, we’re not really excited with the Nokia 7 plus at this price. take your time to delay as long as you need, we have no rush at all to snatch your Nokia 7 plus at this price !!!

Honestly, if the build quality, camera, screen, battery are all comparable to premium phones, what difference would the snapdragon 660 make if all you do on your phone is just normal everyday things like web browser navigate, Spotify, make calls, WhatsApp and calendars? Most people won’t need to have the newest SD in their phones.

Prices. Can reduce for all people buy and market coach faster..and helpful public.tq..

wtf 1.7k?? at this price range you can get a oneplus 3t(eventhough it was released in late 2016 but it stills perform really really well, hv a snappy 8++ chip and also upgradable to oreo) or galaxy A8/honor 8pro or add rm 200 and buy honor view10/huawei mate 10/p10 plus. i think these phones will be a better option than this.
but it depends on person, if u want to experience android one below 2k you can buy this.
but honestly, nokia should price this phone lower 🙂 mybe around 1.5k to compete with vivo v9 oppo f7.
nahh this is only an opinion. btw im using op3t and it still have beast in it.
i hope nokia will find success with this comeback. lol

Camera sure lose to Nokia 7 Plus. Dual Zeiss and guarantee software updates for 2 more years.

mate, you know the cpu is faster than the snapdragon 821 rite? and also better camera, build quality, battery..

i dont play games on my phone, but the sd660 also has a beast of a gpu for a midrange chip… accept the fact that your 3t is getting old and get over it

is it on sale now?
