4 ways you can get the most out of Lazada’s 11.11 sale

As the year comes to a close, you already know what it’s time for — SALES. The first one to come up is the massive event that’s taking place on the 11th of November (tomorrow!), otherwise known as Single’s Day, and one of the biggest e-commerce participants is Lazada.

However, the problem with these big sales on big sites is, it can be easy to get overwhelmed by all the banners, products and methods to gain discounts. Add that to the fact that you will probably have to engage other shoppers in combat to get the best discounts for your favourite goods, this whole sale could be a huge cluster–mess.

There is good news because we’re here to help. Here are four quick tips that you can utilise to maximise discounts, improve ease of shopping and give you a head start tomorrow.

1. Put all your items in your shopping cart before 11.11

This helpful tip was actually provided by none other than the CEO of Lazada himself, and if you think about it, this makes sense. If you start now, you have time to comb through all the items you may want to purchase during the sale period.

Then, when midnight rolls around, all you need to do is open your cart, check all your items, insert whatever discount codes you want, and pay for it.

2. Use a cashback service like ShopBack

The first thing you should always do when making a purchase online is to check if that particular e-commerce merchant is supported by a cashback provider. The biggest cashback provider in the Southeast Asian region is ShopBack and it’s one of our favourite sites to use when we buy anything online.

It does add an extra step to your online purchasing process but we think the tradeoff is worth it. Simply log on to ShopBack, hit the Lazada link and start shopping. What’s more, ShopBack is also having their own promo during the 11.11 sales so you can get even more goodies.

If you want to learn more about ShopBack, you can head here.

3. Buy Lazada gift cards

This year, Lazada’s offering a bunch of gift cards that let you get more for your money. That’s because their gift cards are currently on sale and you can save up to RM200 when you purchase the RM2,000 gift card.

Of course, there is a caveat and this one is that these gift cards can only be used on the 11th of November 2017. Yep, it can only be used during the Online Revolution sale and it can also only be purchased before the Online Revolution starts (which means today is the last day).

You can buy these gift cards here.

4. Apply Lazada CIMB prepaid card

Finally, you can also apply for the Lazada CIMB prepaid card. This card gives you a juicy 15% discount and 15% cashback during the Online Revolution 11.11 sale. It’s also applicable for the next Online Revolution 12.12 sale that will take place next month.

What’s more, both CIMB and non-CIMB bank customers can apply for this card too.  For more information, check out the CIMB card page.
