Showcased at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Acer has released their second iteration of their Liquid Leap smartwatch after teasing it on their Facebook page a couple of days ago.

The Liquid Leap+ is basically an update to a simple fitness tracker that also pulls notifications from your smartphone, very in similar in vein to what brands like Samsung and Huawei has had to offer. It does look very similar in design to the original Liquid Leap and has the very same colourful aesthetics to go with it in the form of vibrant rubberised bands.

The fitness tracker is IPX7 certified water resistant and operates via low-energy Bluetooth 4.0. The tracker features a one-inch OLED touchscreen as there are no physical buttons and navigates via swipe motions. The tracker will be compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Phones as well as the new Acer Liquid M220 smartphone.

The Liquid Leap+ will go on sale later this month in Europe, the Middle East ad Africa for €79 (about RM 320), though pricewise it does look more appealing than  similar offerings currently out in the market.

We are in Barcelona for MWC 2015 so stay tuned for more information as it comes.
