U Mobile is now offering the Samsung Galaxy S5 on contract from as low as RM555. Retailing at RM2,399, the Galaxy S5 is offered on 3 contract plans – U58, U88 and U Plus plan. If you sign up on U88 and U Plus plan, there’s no advance payment requirement as long as you opt for Auto Debit. This makes it more appealing to those who plan to get a Galaxy S5 on contract without forking a too much money upfront, which often is more than actual device price itself.
On its highest U Plus Plan, the Galaxy S5 can be yours for RM999 but if you sign up together with a new Standard Chartered JustOne Platinum Credit Card credit card, you can get the Galaxy S5 for just RM555. The credit card offer is only applicable for new Standard Chartered sign ups only and if eligible, they will rebate RM444 back to your credit card, which offsets the initial RM999 device price on U Plus.

All plans are tied with 24 months duration. For U58, there’s an upfront payment of RM348 required during sign up which will be rebated back to your monthly bills across 6 months. If you decide not to take up the Auto Debit option, the U88 and U Plus plans would require RM528 and RM1104 advance payment respectively.
