For the serious photographer with high speed social sharing needs, the Galaxy NX will coming to Malaysia pretty soon. The Android running 20MP camera with interchangeable lens was announced couple of months back and Samsung Malaysia has released a teaser of it on Facebook & Twitter.
To recap on the specs, the Galaxy NX features a 20.3MP APS-C CMOS Sensor with a hybrid Auto Focus system that snaps as quick as 1/6000 sec and has burst mode of 8.6FPS. There’s a range of lenses to choose from and it is likely they would bundle a 18-55mm kit lens. Being an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS device, you’ll have access to a wide range of apps which lets you share photos in real-time or even play games when you’re just simply bored with taking pictures (which we won’t recommend).
Dominating the back is a smart phone like display which uses a 4.8″ TFT screen and it is powered with a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor that’s mated with 2GB of RAM. On-board it comes with 16GB of storage and it accepts microSD card up to 64GB. For a heavy duty usage, the Galaxy NX is juiced up with a rather large 4,360mAh capacity battery which is about double of the Galaxy S4 Zoom (2,330mAh) and nearly triple of the Galaxy Camera (1,650mAh). For ease of upload and sharing online, Galaxy NX is connected with WiFi, 3G & 4G LTE.
