Acer is expected to introduce 2 new tablets at CES in Las Vegas – The Iconia A200 & A700. The A200 is an entry level 10.1″ tablet running on 1GHz Tegra 2 which lacks a rear facing camera. With tablets gearing up for quad-core Tegra 3 processors, the A700 is something interesting to look forward to. Not only it has the powerful 1.3GHz quad core processor but the 10.1″ tablet boast a high resolution display of 1920×1200.

The A700 comes with a massive 9800mAh battery and weights 650 grams. It also comes with a micro-HDMI, micro-USB and micro-SD slots for expansion and connectivity. Over at the back, there’s a 5MP camera with assisted flash while the front has a HD capable camera.

Earlier on, it was also rumoured that Samsung is working on a larger 11.6″ tablet that’s capable of pushing 2650×1600 resolution.

Head after the break for more photos of the A700.
