Maxis to offer iPhone 4S on prepaid with free data

For those planning to buy an iPhone 4S in Malaysia without contract, the Apple Store was the only option. However here’s an alternative which you can consider which offers you extra free monthly data. Maxis apparently is offering a prepaid option for the iPhone 4S and this was spotted on their T&C in the RSVP microsite.
On Hotlink, Maxis’s prepaid brand, they would usually offer free 500MB data for 12 months if you purchase an iPhone from them outright. If you don’t find the need for a prepaid line, you can use this as a spare data SIM or sell it off for someone who’s looking for 500MB/month data SIM. As usual, the data is only valid provided that Hotlink account is active with regular top up. That’s not a bad value considering it would be priced the same as a standalone iPhone 4S from the online store.

They could have copy and paste from their last year's T&C but I do hope they will give the free data for prepaid. I bought a few iPhones under prepaid plan last year and did get the free data but later on they say they won't give this out anymore so I'm not sure about this year

Hey guys.. Just got the Email with the confirmation ID and the Rate plan they are offering. Hope the confirmation ID is valid, as I didn't get the invitation at the first place.

I have went through the pre-order process with maxis (through the link you provided in your previous post). However, I did not receive the confirmation e-mail. Plus at maxis website, there is no link for pre-order. However, when i was done wit my pre-order through the link you provided, i was given a reference ID no. Can it be used?
