Samsung together with Rovio has kicked off a Christmas themed Angry Birds Competition to promote its Samsung Galaxy Note. The challenge is to get the highest score on the Google Chrome based Angry Birds before 1st January 2012. Participants can stand a chance to win Samsung Galaxy Note and a bunch of Angry Birds merchandise.

According to the T&C, the contest is open to all nationalities except for employees of Samsung, Rovio and supporting partners. So yes, looks like Malaysians can participate as well. Winners will be announced before 14th January 2012.

Excited? Head over to Angry Birds Galaxy Note promo page. At time of posting, the highest score is held by a Finnish at 206,350 points.

i got 213610 on that level…but some guy now has over 567000 points. how did that happen. he probably hacked, or there's some secret bonus somewhere in the level.

567000, Really? I checked the leaderboard and the highest, now is 258320. They probably took down the score after realising it must have been a hack. It really pains me when people decide to cheat and ruin a nice competition. my highscore is 176720 and i destroyed nearly every single object on the stage with 1 extra bird remaining. I still have a feeling, that 258320 highscore was hacked. The person probably made it lower so it won't be too obvious that it was hacked. it seems really unrealistic.

i think the 258K and more isn't possible without some kind of boost other cheat. you can count the "bricks" that create the lvl and count some max score around 200K? am i wrong? rovio should be able to determine, if the score is without cheating.
