UPDATE (7:00PM 18/08/2011) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 retails at RM1899 outright. More details here. Unconfirmed Celcom pricing from RM1468 here.
UPDATE (4:40PM 18/08/2011): Samsung Facebook Page has updated to reflect the offer this Saturday. They added 2 dates (20th and 21st). We wonder if there’s a 2nd round on Sunday.

Looks like the crazy Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 firesale is on this Saturday at 10AM.
According to some sources, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is offered as low as RM99 and RM999 depending on luck, quantity and location.
Here are the details so far:
Piazza e@Curve, Kuala Lumpur
1st 300 customers: RM999
Lucky 20 customers: RM99Queensbay Mall, Penang
1st 50 customers: RM999Celcom Branch, Jalan Kempas, Johor Bahru
1st 50 customers: RM999
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 promo price is tied with 24 months contract of Celcom Broadband Basic or Advance.
Obviously if want to get one, you have to be early. Really really early.

Don't think you need to pay full subscription upfront but there might be an advance payment of couple of hundred ringgit required like any other bundled offers.

yes. the price is for 16GB WiFi + 3G version. Neither the WiFi only versions (both 16GB and 32GB) nor the WiFi + 3G (32GB) are being launched on Saturday.

Q up overnight from 12 midnight ( 10 hours standing like a fool ! ) to pay RM999 (save RM900 ) at 10am Saturday, then be strangled by Celcom for the next 2 blady years !
Only hope is to be the lucky 20 to get RM99 set ( hopefully not defective haha )
Common people , take it easy just buy lah at RM1899 next few days lah.

No. Can get for 1899 w/o contract. Also can get at Samsung store (RRP not yet declared).

Latest tab cant make a phone call nor video call(previous tab can). correct me if i'm wrong. i'm using celcom rm68 data plan, so it's worth buying…LOL.

It can make video calls thru google talk, skype. But no phone calls.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 like most other 10.1 tablets wasn't designed to make calls out of the box. However rumour has it that the 8.9" version can with a bit of tweaking.
