Getting bored with your iPhone? Planning to get an iPhone 4 or replace your old iPhone with an Android device? On the borderline of Jailbreaking your iPhone but not really sure what’s the point of doing it?

Well, if you’ve been asking these questions than perhaps a Jailbreaking your current iPhone is an option worth considering.

Gizmodo presents a very convicing arguement on why Jailbreaking your iPhone is actually a good idea. And we have to admit, it takes your iPhone to another level in terms of functionality and usability — it’s almost like somebody made a better iPhone OS. At the very least, Jailbreaking will give your iPhone a new lease on life. The best part is, since Jailbreaking is legal, its now very easy to Jailbreak your iPhone than even before.

Not sure if Jailbreaking is for you? Consider the possibility of remotely accessing your iPhone from your computer to reply text messages. Or how about being able to access all your wireless and display setting controls without the need do dig into the settings menu. These are just some of the enhancements Jailbreaking opens up for your iPhone.

Don’t take our word for it, take a look at Gizmodo’s article here — but we got to warn you, proceed with Jailbreak at your own peril.
