It all began with one crazy challenge — to drive a car using only what you see through the display of the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc. Then someone wondered whether a flower can bloom with just the glow from the screen of the Xperia arc? or can a group of skaters skate around town using the camera and display of the Xperia neo as their eyes?
And the challenge was set…
Marketing stunts aside, these beautifully done videos are just a joy to watch.

The new Android range from Sony Ericsson features a 8MP camera with Sony’s Exmor R which performs superbly under low light conditions. This feature will be available on the Xperia arc, neo and pro that’s coming this year. Earlier on we’ve seen a demo on the Sony Ericsson Arc where it takes multiple shots at surprisingly fast pace. Now here’s a demonstration of the Exmor R’s low light capabilities vs a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
Looks pretty impressive and Sony Ericsson is looking like a serious mobile imaging contender this year. Watch the video after the break.
Last Month, Sony Ericsson had announced the Xperia Arc which comes with a sexy slim body with a massively improved display & imaging capabilities. Like the Xperia X10s we’ve seen before, Sony Ericsson has introduced more Android variants to join the arc in its 2011 line up with the Xperia pro and Xperia neo. The key difference from first look is that the pro comes with a QWERTY slider keyboard.
This is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo. One of the other feature attraction coming from Sony Ericsson next week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Little is known about the specs and details of the device except that it is running Gingerbread. What we do know is that the Neo is looking very good.
