If you are a Samsung Galaxy Note fan that always want the latest, here’s something worth checking out. Samsung Malaysia is extending its Yearly Upgrade Program to cover the next Samsung Galaxy Note flagship model and you can get it at a discount when it’s released next year.
Dear iPhone users,
Do you feel like you haven’t grown up? Like you haven’t really stepped into the adult world and fulfilled your full potential? Maybe, or maybe not, but Samsung definitely thinks you can do better and in their latest witty jab at Apple, the company shows you just some of the things you’re missing out on over at Camp iOS.
A week before its big event, Samsung has just released its first video teaser of the Galaxy Note8. After introducing the Galaxy S8/S8+ earlier this year, Samsung wants you to do bigger things with their upcoming flagship smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 Unpacked event date has been confirmed and it’s taking place in about a month’s time as mentioned by its mobile business chief. This is Samsung’s most important launch as it is the comeback device after its ill-fated Galaxy Note7.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 was just announced today and it continues to cement its position as the king of phablets. So what’s new with the Note7? Is it just an S7 edge with an S-Pen? How does the Iris Scanner work?
We managed to get a closer look at the device and we hope to answer those questions right after the break.
If you think about all the new devices that are coming out these days, most of them are upwards of five inches, with many hovering around the 5.5-inch mark. While that’s a norm today, it wasn’t so a couple of years ago.
Back then, to have a smartphone that had a screen size of more than five inches was bordering on the absurd. But, one smartphone changed that. One smartphone kickstarted a revolution in smartphones, their screen sizes, and what we could do with them.
Here’s a brief look at that smartphone and the handset lineup it spawned. The pioneer that led to an entire generation of large form-factor handsets — the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be unveiled officially on 2 August 2016. Similar to last year, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in New York City. On top of that, they will be having simultaneous launch events at Rio de Janeiro and London.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be announced next month and we finally get a clearer picture thanks to serial leakster @evleaks. Similar to what was expected, the new Galaxy Note7 design is close to the Galaxy S7 edge as it gets a dual-curve display while having its signature S-Pen.
As we enter the second half of 2016, the next big thing would be the new Galaxy Note series. Just like last year, the new model will be announced ahead of IFA and it should hit shelves before the next iPhone is revealed.
So what’s new for the next productivity phablet? Here’s what we know so far from the recent leaks.
The new Samsung phablet duo are officially launched in Malaysia with the Galaxy Note5 going for RM2,699, while the double curve display S6 edge+ is priced at RM3,099. Both models are dual-SIM 4G LTE ready and comes with 32GB of on-board storage. At the moment, the Galaxy Note5 is only available in Gold Platinum and White Pear, while the S6 edge+ comes in Gold Platinum or Black Sapphire.
Both models will officially go on sale starting tomorrow, 4th September at their roadshows located at Sunway Pyramid (Klang Valley), Gurney Plaza (Penang) and Sutera Mall (Johor Bahru). In case you missed it, they are doing a special promo for the Note5 where early birds can purchase the 2nd unit at 50% off. This is limited to the first 100 in Sunway Pyramid and the first 50 for both Gurney Plaza and Sutera Mall venues.
