Watching the western media rave over Google‘s brand new Night Sight low-light photography feature that recently hit Pixel smartphones, there was really only one thought going through my mind: Isn’t this just Huawei‘s Night Mode but with a nicer name? It sure as hell looks like like a similar concept is being applied, but in so many of the articles I’ve seen about it, Huawei’s name has been conveniently left out.
But, whatever. I’m not someone who’s into dwelling on conspiracy theories. The only thing I’m interested in finding out is whether Night Sight is better than Huawei’s Night Mode. Yup, you already know what that means: It’s camera comparison time.
In August, Oppo introduced the R17 Pro to the world but instead of a full-blown launch, the introduction was more of a teaser. What we know is that the R17 Pro may be the first smartphone in the world to feature a triple camera with a variable aperture lens — this from an official teaser video that Oppo released.
Now, more information has surfaced about the device and it looks like the R17 Pro will go on sale on November 11th in China with pre-orders starting from November 1st and it will be priced at CNY4,300 (about RM2,583).
OPPO has released a teaser video about its upcoming smartphone – the R17 Pro. While the video is only fifteen seconds long, it reveals two very important detail about the phone. One, the R17 Pro has – what looks to be – a variable aperture lens and two, the phone has three cameras on the back.
