We have seen the wild pop up camera on the OPPO Find X and it was mind-blowing. But today, we found out that the Chinese manufacturer could be adding even more crazy onto that with what looks like a brand new variant.
OPPO has released a teaser video about its upcoming smartphone – the R17 Pro. While the video is only fifteen seconds long, it reveals two very important detail about the phone. One, the R17 Pro has – what looks to be – a variable aperture lens and two, the phone has three cameras on the back.
OPPO Malaysia has just announced the F9, its latest selfie-centric smartphone that comes with an even smaller notch. While the core hardware underneath is similar to the OPPO F7, the new smartphone now comes with a dual camera setup and OPPO’s very own fast charging feature.
I don’t think any other phone has excited me this year (at least, so far) more than the OPPO Find X. It was this jaw-dropping handset that seemed to simultaneously revive the company’s Find flagship series and give everyone the solution to what I liked to call the “camera conundrum”.
But things always look good at launch. The real test was whether it would also look good in real life. Short answer? Yes. A thousand times yes.
OPPO Malaysia is offering a large screen and big battery experience at a lower price point with the arrival of the OPPO A3s. Not only it gets a notch display but it also comes with dual-cameras at the rear.
UPDATE: The OPPO Find X is officially launched in Malaysia at RM3,699.
The OPPO Find X with its all-screen design and sliding camera mechanism is coming to Malaysia on 17 July. If you want to be among the first to secure this futuristic smartphone, OPPO has started accepting “pre-orders” on their online store on Lazada Malaysia.
What a year it has been so far since the last time we published our best smartphones under RM1,200 (2018 edition). We thought about a simple update to our original guide, but because so much has changed, we figured it would be a disservice for you to just add the couple of new phones to the end of that one. Instead, we decided that it would be better if we gave the whole guide a proper face-lift, featuring the new updated GST-less budget smartphones, several brand new handsets and a revised Editor’s Choice section.
Here’s our ultimate budget smartphone guide Part 2.
