Distributor Brightstar Malaysia is organising a 3-day warehouse sale that’s taking place next weekend. They are offering iPhones and Monster Audio products with up to 50% off and they also have accessories to clear with up to 85% discount.
I was a little wary of HTC‘s second release before their flagship refresh. After the U Ultra did such an excellent job at tarnishing the excellent HTC 10, I was worried that this U11+ might “help” the — again, excellent — U11 in the same way. But when I saw the launch, I was glad that HTC seemed to have learned their lesson.
In another life, the U11+ could very well have been a Google Pixel smartphone. And I’m glad it didn’t, because if it did then we probably wouldn’t have seen it launch in Malaysia. What a shame that would have been because from where I’m sitting, the U11+ looks like a killer smartphone — even if it is a little late to the race.
If you’ve been pining for a Google Pixel-like device but couldn’t stomach the thought of picking one up from grey importers, there’s good news. Today, HTC Malaysia launched their latest flagship smartphone, the U11+, a phone that some say started out life as a Pixel project.
UPDATE: HTC U11+ has landed in Malaysia with a RM3,099 price tag.
We are just days away from the new year and there’s already a new flagship smartphone launch that’s scheduled to take place in Malaysia very soon. As teased earlier, the HTC U11+ is coming to Malaysia and official distributor Brightstar has just sent out invites for the upcoming launch event that’s happening on 11 January 2018.
UPDATE: HTC U11+ Malaysian launch is happening on 11 January.
It looks like another flagship smartphone might land in Malaysia before the year is out. The HTC U11+, which is the bigger brother of the U11 has just gotten the green light from SIRIM. If you’re looking for a Pixel 2 XL alternative, this could be it.
Did you like the HTC U11? I sure did and it was low-key one of my favourite phones last year, despite some of its weaknesses. I thought HTC was going in the right direction and it looks like they took that into consideration when designing their brand new HTC U11+ flagship smartphone.
Cherry on top? It looks like they’ve also fixed some of their smaller flagship’s biggest weaknesses. Yeah, you can get excited now.
HTC will be making a new device announcement tomorrow but looks like the cat is finally out of the bag. A hands-on video of the U11+ and the mid-range U11 Life has surfaced online, and it confirms almost everything we know so far about HTC’s next big thing.
HTC will be the next smartphone maker to jump on the big screen and thin bezel bandwagon. An announced has been confirmed for this week and it could be a phablet version of its current HTC U11 flagship smartphone.
Before the year is out, there’s one more flagship smartphone from HTC that’s expected to be called the U11+. Like the name suggests, this is the bigger brother of its current HTC U11 flagship smartphone.
A few days ago, we’ve seen its leaked 3D render and now we have a clearer view through its certification listing on TENAA.
