The Acer Switch Alpha 12, which can be seen as the affordable Surface Pro 4 alternative is getting a new replacement. At its [email protected] event in New York, they had introduced two new 2-in-1 convertible notebook models – the Switch 5 and Switch 3. Both are running on Windows 10 with the latest Creators Update.
Although tablets never really caught on as portable productivity devices, the rise in popularity of 2-in-1s and ultra slim laptops is hard to deny. Launched at Acer‘s Global Press Conference in New York last week, the new Switch Alpha 12 and Aspire S 13 represents the company’s bid to strengthen their presence in this up-and-coming sector.
With the limited time I got to spend with the devices, I was rather impressed.
The [email protected] event in New York saw the launch of a bunch of new portable devices designed for the busy worker on the go all the way to those looking for hardcore gaming performance. Of the devices launched are the Acer Switch Alpha 12 2-in-1 PC, the rather skinny Acer Aspire S13 and the tough Chromebook 14 for Work.
