If you’re looking for a fitness band that offers a larger screen, the Huawei Band 6 is now official and you can get it in Malaysia this coming Sunday. At first glance, it looks like a Huawei Watch Fit but the Band 6 costs less than half the price.

Pricing and availability

The Huawei Band 6 is officially priced at RM219 and it will be available from the 4th April 2021. As an early bird promo, you’ll get a RM20 online voucher which you can use on selected Huawei products on your next purchase.

The Band 6 will be available on both Huawei online store as well as the official Huawei store on Shopee.

Hardware Specs

The Huawei Band 6 comes with a large 1.47″ “FullView” colour AMOLED display that pushes a 194×368 pixels resolution. The screen supports touch interaction and there’s also a physical side button.

On a single charge, it can last up to 14 days on normal use or up to 10 days with heavy use. If you need to recharge quickly, a short 5-minute charge is said to be enough to provide up to 2 days of battery life.

The fitness band offers your usual 24 hour heart-rate and sleep tracking along with a total of 96 workout modes. There’s also 24/7 SpO2 monitoring which allows you to keep track of your blood oxygen level and it will notify you if it gets too low.

The Band 6 also gets 6-axis accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, as well as 5 ATM water-resistance (50-metres). It connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and it is compatible with both Android (6.0 and above) and iOS (9.0 and above0 devices. Unlike the Watch Fit, the Band 6 doesn’t come with built-in GPS. It comes in 3 colours – Graphite Black, Amber Sunrise and Forest Green.
