The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro will arrive in Malaysia just in time for the upcoming 10.10 sale. This is Huawei’s newest smartwatch that uses premium materials such as a titanium frame, sapphire watch dial and a ceramic back.

Pricing and availability

The Watch GT 2 Pro is officially priced at RM1,199 and it appears to be offered only in midnight black. It comes with a free watch strap and if you’ve signed up for Huawei’s newsletter, you’ll receive a code that provides you with RM100 discount.

As a comparison, the earlier Watch GT 2 was launched with a RM799 price tag, while the cheaper GT 2e is going for RM599. Meanwhile, the Honor Magic Watch 2 46mm was originally offered from RM699.

Hardware specs

The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes with a 1.39″ AMOLED display and it is powered by a Kirin A1 chip that’s found on the Honor Magic Watch 2, Watch GT 2 and Watch GT 2e. It can last up to 14 days on a single charge and it now supports wireless charging.

The Watch GT 2 Pro connects via Bluetooth 5.1 and it has built-in GPS, 5 ATM rated water resistance and an optical heart rate sensor. Apart from fitness and sleep tracking, the watch also measures SpO2 and stress levels. It also gets 4GB of storage which can be used to store up to 500 songs and you can listen to it directly on your wireless earphones. You can learn more in our announcement post.
