Why did Veveonah Mosibin hide all her YouTube videos?

Veveonah Mosibin—the girl who went viral on the internet for staying in a tree to take her online exams—has set all her YouTube videos to private. All her Instagram posts have been removed, as well.

According to Social Blade, she set her videos to private yesterday, 1 October. Her video views had a pretty steady amount of gain, and she had a total viewcount of 3,117,219 by 30 September before the dramatic drop.

The sudden move might have similarities to what happened to another Malaysian YouTube sensation Sugu Pavithra. However, they removed their videos completely instead of set them to private. The sudden blackout came after Sugu was charged for attacking his wife—twice.

While we don’t know the reason yet as to why Veveonah set all her videos to private, we have tried to reach her through WhatsApp. She has yet to respond.

Her Instagram—which has 22.9k followers—also went through a purge. Her photos and videos on the social media platform have been deleted. Her public Facebook page still has posts, but the links to her videos do not work anymore. Her Twitter page has no posts, either.

We’re not sure if she’s deleted all her Instagram posts, or just archived them. You can archive your posts—which removes your posts from your page but still have them be available to you in the archive section.

We hope Veveonah is okay during this time. Hiding her content can’t have been an easy thing to do. It’s also unconfirmed if she has done it herself or if someone else has done it. We will update the situation once we find out more information.
