Samsung Galaxy M51 Malaysia: Everything you need to know

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is officially announced for Malaysia and this is a new mid-range smartphone that comes with a massive 7,000mAh battery. It is also the most powerful Galaxy M device and it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor.

Pricing and availability

Samsung Galaxy M51 Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is officially priced at RM1,599 in Malaysia but you can get it for RM1,399 (RM200 off) on the 24th of September during the Samsung Super Brand Day sale on Lazada. The device is only offered in Black and it comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage.

Hardware Specs

The Galaxy M51 comes with a 6.7″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display that comes with a punch-hole at the top. It runs on Snapdragon 730G processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable via dedicated microSD card slot.

For taking pictures, the device has a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro camera. Upfront, it has a 32MP selfie shooter. The device can shoot 4K videos at 30fps and it also supports Live Focus. Unlike the Galaxy M31, the M51 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Powering the M51 is a huge 7,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging via USB-C. As mentioned by Samsung India, a full charge takes 115 minutes. It also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack and the spec sheet also lists NFC as supported. You can learn more on Samsung Malaysia’s product page.
