AirAsia has announced a new time-limited promo where Big members can book flights with fixed fares for 3 days only. This is applicable to all domestic flights within Malaysia and it applies to all seats during the promo period.

The fixed fare sale is happening from 6th to 8th July 2020 and you can book for travel between 3rd August to 30th November 2020. The promo is also applicable for weekends.

All flights within Peninsular Malaysia or within East Malaysia are priced at RM88 one way all-in. This includes flights from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Penang to Johor Bahru, Kuching to Miri, or Kota Kinabalu to Kuching.

AirAsia RM88 fixed fare

For flights between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah or Sarawak, the fares are fixed at RM208 all-in per way. This covers Kuala Lumpur to Kuching, Johor Bahru to Sibu, Penang to Kuching and Kota Bharu to Kota Kinabalu.

AirAsia RM208 fixed fare

When you try to book a seat during the promo period (3rd August to 30 November), it will display RM93.30 per way but once you proceed to the next page, you will see a RM5 Big Member discount for both ways. A return ticket will cost you RM176 all-in excluding additional add-ons such as checked-in luggage, meals and seat selection.

For flights between West and East Malaysia, you will see RM213.30 per way in the search results. When you proceed to book, a return trip will cost you RM416 all-in excluding the add-ons. This is equivalent to RM208 all-in per way.

For more info, you can visit AirAsia.com. Alternatively, you can book via its mobile app which is available on Apple Appstore, Google PlayStore and Huawei AppGallery. Take note that all hand-carry luggage can only be stored under the seat in front of you as overhead cabins are not available to minimise contact.

[ UPDATE 07/07/2020 11:30 ]: AirAsia has revised its cabin baggage policy. Passengers can bring up to 2 bags not exceeding 7kg in total. One bag can now be stored in the overhead bin. More details here.
