After we wrote about the arrival of Taco Bell in Malaysia, the folks that manage the brand in Malaysia have reached out to us with more details. It looks like several outlets would be opening soon.

Their website just went live with a simple announcement to confirm that Taco Bell is definitely coming to Malaysia. The restaurant will be managed by Disruptive Concepts Restaurant Group which is the franchise holder for Taco Bell in Malaysia and Singapore.

Below is the first official statement from the brand:

We are thrilled to finally bring our world-famous crunchy tacos to our Malaysian fans, and look forward to beginning this journey with our incredible partners at Disruptive Concepts Restaurant Group!

They will be announcing their very first restaurant in Malaysia soon and it is hinted that it starts with a “C”. Where could this be?

So far we can confirm that one of the upcoming outlets is located at Tropicana Gardens Mall in Petaling Jaya. There are only a few malls in Malaysia that start with the letter C. This includes Cheras Leisure Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Citta Mall in Ara Damansara and Central i-City in Shah Alam.

We expect more details to be revealed closer to its official opening. To be among the first to know, you can drop your email on their website to subscribe to their mailing list.
