Setel, the petrol payment app no longer has a RM200 limit as they have increased its eWallet size to RM500. This is possible as Setel has acquired its own e-money license from Bank Negara Malaysia on 29th of April under Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd.

With the increase wallet size, you can now reload once with a higher balance and Setel more times before needing to top-up again. You can reload via credit or debit card, as well as online banking. For extra convenience, you can also enable auto-reload by card and it will top up with your preferred amount once your balance falls below a certain limit.

At the moment, Setel is available at 740 Petronas stations nationwide. It is recommended that you update to the latest version before you head out to refuel. The app is available for both Android and iOS.

Editor’s Note: Setel has informed us that its contactless #Setel4Me service has been discontinued. We have removed the mention of the feature in the post.
