Samsung Malaysia has announced a price cut for the Galaxy Buds. The wireless earbuds were launched last year for RM499 and now you can get it for RM349, which is RM150 off.

To recap, the Galaxy Buds which supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is rated to last up to 6 hours of music playback or 5 hours of voice calls on a single charge. The provided case which comes with a 252mAh battery can provide another 7 hours of music playback.

It also features an adaptive dual-mic setup which is designed to reduce noise during voice calls. There’s also a quick ambient mode which allows you to hear your surrounding without taking off the wireless buds.

The case can be charged via USB-C and it also supports wireless charging with Qi standard. A quick 15-minute wireless charge is rated to provide 1.7 hours of usage. You can also charge the Galaxy Buds at the back of your phone if it supports reverse wireless charging.

If you’re interested, you can check out the Samsung Malaysia’s Galaxy Buds page. Below is a quick comparison between the Galaxy Buds and the newer Galaxy Buds+. The new Buds+ priced at RM599 boasts improved audio quality thanks to its new 2-way speaker and triple-mic setup, and it offers almost double the battery life of up to 11 hours on a single charge.
