We earlier talked about the Realme Buds Air, and at the time, we didn’t expect Realme’s first TWS headphones to come with wireless charging. And that’s also because none of Realme’s smartphones even have the feature. However, the soon-to-be-released Realme Buds Air have now been revealed to support wireless charging, which means that you can use any Qi-certified wireless charging pad to charge them.

What makes #realmeBudsAir truly disruptive?
Wireless Charging! Yes, you can charge with ease and convenience using any Qi-standard wireless charger.

Isn't it amazing guys!

Not even the Realme X2 Pro—the company’s current flagship offering—supports wireless charging, which makes this an even bigger surprise. They’re set to be launched on the 17th of December in India, and will be available in 3 colours: black, yellow, and white.

There haven’t been any concrete details on pricing as of yet, but according to this post, a Flipkart listing in India has revealed that pricing will start at INR4,999 (about RM292). Features-wise, the Buds Air will have a 12mm bass boost driver and you can control your music using touch controls—similar to the AirPods by Apple.

That isn’t all that Realme’s Buds Air will share with the AirPods, however. They also feature a charging case that looks remarkably similar to Apple’s case, the design of the earbuds look almost identical to the AirPods.

At that potential price, you’d have to say that the Realme Buds Air are certainly going to be a bang-for-buck proposition, although we’ll have to actually try them to get a measure of how good they are (sound-wise). For now, we’ll have to wait till the 17th for more details.
