Car sharing platform, GoCar, has announced a new One-Way-Trip promo where you can drive a car to KLIA2 from RM7.90/hour (before 6% SST). The One-Way-Trip (OWT) surcharge has been reduced from RM50 to RM1 from now until 25th September 2019.
The OWT option is only available at selected pick up points that are marked with a red “HUB” label. In the Klang Valley, this is only available at the Jaya One Hub at Block D in front of 7-Eleven and at KLIA2 Hub on Level 1.
At Jaya One they currently have two options – Nissan Almera at RM6.90/hour and Renault Captur at RM12.90/hour. Unlike SOCAR’s one-way trip offering, petrol is not included. That means you would need to return the car with the same level of petrol when the car is picked up.
It might not be feasible for a single person. However, it might be practical if you’re travelling in a group and you can rent one car to pick up everyone and drive to the airport. Unfortunately, GoCar only covers KLIA2 and not the main KLIA terminal.
