The Xiaomi Mi 9T looks crazy in Glacier Blue!

Xiaomi has officially launched their latest member of the Mi 9 series in Malaysia and it is none other than the Xiaomi Mi 9T .

For those of you who didn’t know, the Xiaomi Mi 9T is the global version of the Redmi K20 that was launched in China recently.

Well by now you might have already seen our unboxing of the Redmi K20 Pro and the Carbon Black version of the Xiaomi Mi 9T, but if you have not make sure to check them because they are awesome!

But today I’m here to talk about the other variant of the device. Instead of the carbon black version that has been unboxed by Alex last week, what I have here is the Glacier Blue version, and this is the Malaysian set.

This is unlike any smartphone you’ve seen in the market today. It has this really interesting gradient layer whereby the middle is black and the edges are surrounded by blue. It also has this flame effect when you reflect it to the light.

But if you are someone who likes a much more simple design, you can go for the carbon black version. It has this super stylish carbon fiber like texture that’s placed under the glass panel and it a really premium feel to it.

And if you activate the selfie camera on both of them, you will notice that the carbon black version’s selfie camera will light up in red while the Glacier blue version will illuminate in blue, which I find it pretty interesting.

And since we are in the topic of selfie cameras, let’s take a look at it. The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a triple camera setup that consist of a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultra wide angle lens as well as an 8MP telephoto lens.

So I’ve tested out the cameras personally and I like how they turn out. For its asking price, the cameras on the Xiaomi Mi 9T is great for everyday use.

The images are well lit and when it comes to portrait mode, the bokeh are well blended with the subject.

And when it comes to the selfie camera, the pictures taken on the Mi 9T are not overly beautified and it looks natural.

But in terms of specs, both of them are exactly the same. It still gets a 6.39” Full HD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 730 processor, 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Powering these devices are a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T is officially available in Malaysia today and it is available in 2 variants. The base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at RM1,199 and it will be on sale on the 25th of June 2019. The higher spec variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at RM1,399 and the first sale will be happening on the 29th of June 2019.
