It’s almost a year since HTC introduced a flagship smartphone and the Taiwanese smartphone maker also appears to be sluggish when it comes to major software updates. If you’re using a HTC U11, U11+ and U12+, here are some good news. HTC is still working on pushing its Android 9 Pie update and you can get it on your device very soon.
According to their latest tweet, HTC will be pushing Android 9 to the HTC U11 starting late May 2019. Meanwhile, the HTC U11+ and U12+ will be getting the software update in June 2019. If you’re using an older device like the HTC U Ultra, it looks like you’re out of luck.

HTC has been very quiet lately and the last device to launch locally is the HTC U12 Life.
