Today, Vivo Malaysia has finally taken the wraps off its anticipated selfie-centric camera smartphones, the Vivo V15 and V15 Pro. Both of these devices feature a large edge-to-edge display with thin bezels and if you are not a fan of notched displays, both devices come with a pop-up selfie camera.

Among the two, the V15 Pro has better hardware. It gets a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. In terms of camera, the V15 Pro gets a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP sensor for depth effects. For selfies, it has a 32MP front camera that lifts up via a motorised mechanism.
For those who are looking for something more affordable, the V15 is a cheaper alternative. Obviously, there will be some sacrifices in hardware department.
Instead of a Super AMOLED panel like the V15 Pro, the V15 settles for a larger 6.53″ LCD display that pushes Full HD+ resolution. Besides that, it also runs on a MediaTek Helio P70 processor alongside 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Powering the device is a larger 4,000mAh battery that also supports Vivo’s “dual-engine” fast charge.
For imaging, the device still comes with a triple-camera setup but it is a step below with a 12MP main camera. It still gets an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP camera for depth of field. For selfies, it still retains the same elevating 32MP front-camera. Unlike the V15 Pro, the cheaper V15 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
