OPPO e-SIM Malaysia

OPPO is finally embracing e-SIMs on their latest range of smartphones. This allows you to add a mobile number and data plan without requiring a physical SIM card.

At the moment, the e-SIM feature is currently supported on the OPPO F9 and OPPO R17 Pro. Similar to Xiaomi, it uses the Durian Man service which utilises Celcom’s network.

To activate, just download the Durian Man app and register your mobile number. You’ll need to verify your identity by submitting a photo of your IC or passport during the registration process.

On top of that, Durian Man is offering RM30,000 worth of prizes when you activate your e-SIM plan at the OPPO Concept Store at The Mines, Subang Jaya and Lowyat CS Concept Store. The plans start from as low as RM1 and they are giving free data up to 8GB when you perform a top up.

To learn more about Durian Man’s e-SIM, you can check out this e-SIM guide at our SoyaCincau BM sister site.
