SOCAR Share a Gift Charity Malaysia

In this month of Ramadan, SOCAR is making it easier for you to lend a hand to less fortunate children. From now until 14 June, you can drop your donations at selected LRT and MRT stations on every Wednesday and Thursday.

This “Share-A-Gift” campaign is organised in association with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and all contributions will go to Dignity for Children, an NGO that focuses on education for underprivileged children. According to SOCAR, donations can be made in any form and quantity but they would advise against donating perishables. You can also contribute food, ideally in dry food packets.

To donate, just visit one of the participating SOCAR zones, unlock the car using the app and drop your contribution. If you need any help, there’s a SOCAR ambassador on location.

This campaign is happening at Bangsar LRT Station (adjacent to Old Town White Coffee), KL Sentral (Middle line driveway near KLIA Express Departure), Ampang LRT Station (Parking bay at the entrance) and Bukit Bintang MRT Station (in front of H&M, Lot 10).

Below is the full schedule for the “Share-A-Gift” campaign:

If you haven’t tried SOCAR yet, you can download the SOCAR app on your iOS or Android smartphone. For first time registrations, the member fee collected during the campaign will be contributed to Dignity for Children as well.
