Digi and ride-sharing service provider, Grab, has announced a year-long partnership that will deliver a new experience to both Grab riders and driver-partners. They will be installing 1,000 tablets which will provide riders HD entertainment via Digi’s 4G network.

On top of that, both Digi and Grab customers can enjoy more rewards with this partnership. Digi customers can redeem free Grab rides from the MyDiGi Rewards section on the MyDiGi app, while riders can redeem RM5 Digi prepaid top-ups with 750 GrabRewards points from the Grab app. This top-up reward is valid for all GrabRewards tiers.

For Grab driver-partners, they can receive additional sign up bonus gifts from Digi and Grab when they register for a Digi postpaid plan that’s exclusive to them. On top of that, Grab is also introducing a new program together with Digi that would benefit tertiary students. So far there are no further details for both driver and student programs and we expect both Grab and Digi to reveal more in due time.
