This is the Neffos’ new premium smartphone, and it looks…familiar

People love to say that imitation is the best form of flattery, but when does a flattering imitation begin to become just someone ripping you off? Where do you draw the line? I don’t know, but Neffos is set to unveil their brand new smartphone — the Neffos N1 — and from the image they’ve sent us, the smartphone looks almost identical to a certain Chinese flagship handset.

I mean, come on, you can’t possibly look at that image and tell me it doesn’t look like a Huawei P10 or P10 Plus. The resemblance is uncanny. In fact, I think that in this photo, it looks more similar to the P10 than the OnePlus 5 did to the iPhone 7 Plus.

However, I won’t give it too hard of a time for this resemblance until I’ve seen it in person. Because, as the OnePlus 5 has proven, pictures can be a little misleading and since that phone turned out to look quite different from the iPhone 7 Plus, there’s a chance that the Neffos N1 will have distinct design differences with the P10 too.

As far as specs are concerned, Neffos hasn’t officially revealed too much. They say that this new smartphone will have a dual-camera setup at the back for “higher-quality photos and videos” — a first for any Neffos smartphone. However, since this is likely the brand’s flagship smartphone, it’s probably not surprising that it will come with several firsts for the company.

Besides that, Neffos says that the smartphone will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an “efficient processor”, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Oh, they also mentioned that it will have a “generous battery” that charges via USB Type-C and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which you can see in the photo.

Besides that, there’s not much else that we know about the Neffos N1 but this handset will be launching very soon so stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated with the details.
