iflix now supports Chromecast, will let you broadcast your fave shows

iflix Readytocast

Chromecast users rejoice! you can now use your favourite broadcasting dongle with iflix to catch your favourite shows on the streaming service. All you need to do is plug it into your TV and your phone essentially transforms into a mobile media device.

iflix is basically what people have been calling the “Asian Netflix”, with the service launching locally about two months ago. The service is similar to that of Astro On the Go and HyppTV and resides in the same market niche. The service starts from RM 10 a month for unlimited access but you can get a subscription for just RM 8 a month after that with the yearly subscription, which will only set you back RM 96.

If you want to give it a go before you commit, you can sign up for a 14 day unlimited access trial that opens up a library of over 10,000 hours of Local, Asian and Western content from the likes of BBC, Fox and Warner to name a few. Users can get access to iflix on up to five devices; which includes smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and notebooks. You can even share an iflix subscription on two different devices at once for each sub.
