Flip phones were all the rage in the early 00’s and the a certain degree flip phones still have a special place in the hearts of many gadget nuts. We can’t really put our fingers on it but there’s something special about flippers. The mechanical action of opening a flip phone to answer a call just feels right. It’s much much better than sliding your finger across a screen.
If flippers are your thing then Samsung might just have something that’s right up your alley.
The Korean tech giant have just announced the Galaxy Golden, an Android-powered flip phone with dual 3.7-inch Super AMOLED displays (one for when the flip is closed and one for when the flip is opened) and an old-school alphanumeric along with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera and many of the smart features you get with the Galaxy S4 (S Health, Easy Mode and the Optical Reader app).
At the moment the Galaxy Golden is available only Korea and is selling for 790,000 won which is about RM2,330.
