U Mobile 6 months broadband + USB Modem Promo

U Mobile is throwing a special promo for 1 week where they are offering 6 months subscription of MB68 and a Free USB Modem for only RM254. That’s a 50% off from its actual value whereby the MB68 broadband plan with 5GB data is usually charged at RM68/month and the modem’s purported value of RM100. This is a pretty good deal which calculates to only RM42.30/month.
To grab this offer, head over to U Mobile’s Like the Deals App. You will be asked to like their fan page and accept a couple of permissions. The device and SIM is collectable from selected U Mobile service centres. Before signing up, make sure your area is covered with their coverage map.

U Mobile has recently renovated its Flagship store at Berjaya Times Square. In conjunction with the opening, they are doing a couple of promotions particularly a Buy 1 Free 1 offer from 1PM to 7PM today, 23rd March 2011 with Nokia E5, HTC Wildfire and Nokia 7230 shown. It is not clear how it works but most likely it is tied with a contract postpaid plan.
That’s not all, for the next 30 days they are also doing a lucky draw, BlackBerry Buy 1 Free 1 offers and Free U Broadband modem bundling.

U Mobile’s latest RM0 Nokia promo, simply different but slightly similar

U Mobile had kicked off the new year with their latest slogan “Simply Different”. Now they are doing a special promo where you can get a Nokia E5 or Nokia 7230 absolutely free only at selected U Mobile Service Centres at Berjaya Times Square, 1 Utama, AEON AU2, Sunway Pyramid and BBT One Bukit Tinggi.
Having to see U Mobile giving free phones now is something different, but there are some similarities in the way the phones are being bundled. Firstly the offer is primarily tied to a UB68 Data Rate Plan which gives you unlimited data access (5GB FUP) with bolt-on U Mobile Pay as you use Voice Plan.
