After retracting its RM99 UniFi promo, it looks like TM is introducing a new promo that would definitely put a smile on your face. For a limited time, they are slashing its prices not just for UniFi but also for BB (Streamyx) packages as well.
A few days ago, it was discovered that TM was offering its affordable UniFi Lite broadband plan for RM99/month. That’s a significant RM30 monthly discount from its usual price of RM129/month. If you were interested in this offer, unfortunately, TM has put it on hold until further notice.

It looks like UniFi has a brand new promo for their entry-level UniFi LITE plan. Originally offered at RM129/month for 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed, now, new users can get it for below RM100/month.
If you’re a TM UniFi subscriber with the router, as shown above, the much-awaited firmware update has finally arrived.
It was recently reported that there’s a security risk involving several D-Link wireless routers. If it is compromised, hackers can install malicious firmware which would put your information at risk.
After the issue came to light, TM has issued a statement and basically, most TM UniFi customers should have nothing to worry about.

UPDATE 2: D-Link has released its latest firmware for the DIR-850L router.
If you have a D-Link wireless router at home, do take note. Several D-Link routers from the DIR-800 series including a model that’s commonly bundled by TM UniFi and Time Broadband were found to have a security vulnerability. The issue was made known by Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency (CSA) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in a joint advisory.
