DiGi is having a special promo for the Garmin-Asus A10 at Sunway Pyramid from now until this Sunday, 14th November. For those who sign up on the spot during their roadshow, your first 6 months subscription of DG SmartPlan will be only RM28/month instead of the normal RM68/month. That’s RM40 off monthly and a total savings of RM240 which is quite a lot. This is similar to what they used to offer for their BlackBerry promo a while back.
They are also giving out a special edition cover for the Garmin-Asus A10 shown above for new sign ups too. For more details check out their Facebook page.
The Garmin-ASUS A10 which is exclusive to DiGi retails at RM1399 is offered from as low as RM499 with 24 months subscription of DG SmartPlan. Since this is going to be used in the car, a hands free kit worth RM249 is bundled in the package as well.

Celcom has finally revealed the contract price of the Nokia C3 in Malaysia. If you missed the RM99 crazy offer yesterday, this is an alternative.

The Nokia C3 is offered at RM278 on Celcom Exec 50 + Mobile Internet RM38 and RM238 on Celcom Exec 50 + Mobile Internet RM68. It comes FREE if you subscribe to Celcom Exec 250 that comes with free data. The contract duration is 12 months and they require an upfront payment of RM300.
Somehow we felt that the subsidy by Celcom isn’t as generous as compared to Maxis’s X3 Touch and Type deal. For a phone that’s worth RM520 we find it a bit too much for Celcom to ask for RM300 upfront even when customers have to pay RM278 for the device.

The C3 is an entry level S40 device that comes with a full QWERTY keyboard. It is proven to be a big hit especially in Indonesia with a huge crowd lining up for it during launch day.
Earlier on, we had a heads up that Celcom is having a promo offer for the Nokia C3. This is reported to be happening at Pavilion this coming Friday where the device is offered from as low as RM99. You can check out the full details of the event here.
