We’ve just confirmed that the iOS 4.3 Personal Hotspot feature works on the iPhone 4 with Maxis. We can say for sure if it will work for the other operators but looking at how things are, it is safe to assume that if you’re on DiGi with an iPhone 4, you’ll be able to use the Personal Hotspot feature as well.
DiGi and other operator users on iPhone 4 who’ve tried the Personal Hotspot feature, please let us know if it works. Thanks!

Apple has just released its latest version of the iOS — the iOS 4.3 — and with it comes one of the most awaited features for non-jailbroken iPhone owners. The feature we’re talking about here is the Personal Hotspot.
We’re in the midst of updating our iPhone 4, one we’re done we’ll let you know how Personal Hotspot works.
Full list of improvements published by Apple for the iOS 4.3 right after the jump.

Apple is currently peddling out beta versions of its latest iOS rendition that is expected to come with the iPad replacement or possible the new iPhone.
One of the most intriguing features of this version of the iOS is the enhanced multitouch gestures allowing users to by-pass the home button completely to execute tasks that would normally require the use of the home button, like calling up fast app switching for example.
The inclusion of this feature in the iOS 4.3 beta has led many to speculate that the upcoming iPad and/or iPhone may not have a home button altogether. Instead the new multitouch gestures will take the physical home button’s place. Some claim that even the man himself — Steve Jobs — didn’t want a home button on the original iPhone. So there could be some truth in the speculation.
There is some truth but the final release of iOS 4.3 that will go to the public will omit the multitouch gestures, sources are saying. Though this is not to say that the features will be scraped altogether. Apple had included the feature in the 4.3 beta as a heads-up to the developers so they can expect it to be available in the coming versions of the iOS.
In any case, head over to after the jump to see how the multitouch gestures work on an iPhone. If you ask us, just by looking at the video, we can see that solely depending on this feature to get around in the OS will pose much of a problem for devices with small screens like the iPhone.
Take a look and tell us what you think.

So earlier we reported that the next generation iPad and iPhone will come without the iconic home button that has come to identify both devices. We first classified this as a rumour but if you head over to after the jump and take a look at the quick iOS 4.3 walkthrough provided by CNET, a home button-less iPad and iPhone is looking to be something that could very well be real.
So how does one navigate through the OS without the home button? It’s all done through touch, multitouch gestures to be exact. How does this work exactly? All will be revealed after the break.
Another exciting feature that might come with iOS 4.3 is the 3G WiFi router. This much wanted feature was once the exclusive domain of jailbroken iPhones but has recently been made available on CDMA iPhones on the Verizon network in the US, and it could be making its way into GSM iPhones on the next iOS update. This is something we are definitely looking forward to.
Take a look of some of the key features coming with the next iOS update after the jump.
