BGR has several clear shots of an upcoming Android device that’s coming to Verizon. It spots a 4.3″ display, dual LED, front facing camera and 8 Megapixel Camera. It looks very similar to the EVO 4G and we believe it is the same phone on the previous leaked photos of HTC Ace / Desire HD.
It is slightly bigger when compared to the iPhone 4 and the body looks like it shares the same materials used on the HTC Desire/Nexus One. As mentioned earlier, we have a strong feeling that this device might make an appearance during HTC’s big announcement on September 15.
Head on to BGR for more photos.

We talked about the possibility of the HTC Ace (aka HTC Desire HD) making its debut on September 15 and we’ve presented compelling evidence that suggested that. But this new piece of news about September 15 has taken us by surprise.
There’s not one but two HTC devices that will be revealed on September 15.
One is the much known HTC Ace the other is the lesser known HTC Vision (aka HTC Desire Z). Online store, mobile.co.uk has begun displaying the new HTCs possibly to get a head start from the the other online retailers but details of the Desire Z and HD are almost non-existent.
Buy anyways, here’s a recap of what we think the the Desire HD will be packing: 4.3in WVGA screen (most probably of the SLCD kind), Froyo (Android 2.2), 8MP camera with 720p video recording, 1GHZ Snapdragon processor and 4GB on board memory. We also think HTC will be including a dual-mic with noise cancellation in Ace’s arsenal based on the video that we’ve seen of the device. A secondary camera for video calling however is very unlikely for the HTC Ace.
As for the Desire Z its looking like a 3.7-inch screen (480×800) Android 2.1 (Eclair) powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and here’s our favourite part, the Z will also have a kick-out QWERTY keyboard, something like the one we’ve seen on the HTC TyTn II. An Android HTC with QWERTY keyboard, sounds very simillar to the upcoming T-Mobile G2 sans the HSPA+ ?.
And we think a device with a HTC Desire body and a full QWERTY keyboard is something we would classify as being just about perfect.

And no Windows Phone 7 fans, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing a Windows phone anytime soon.

When HTC sent out the September 15 invite, there were two theories as to what the mystery device would be. One is that it would be the unveiling of the HTC Ace or Desire HD, the company’s latest Android based flagship smartphone and the other, is that HTC will be unveiling a Windows Phone 7 device. We thought that a Windows Phone 7 device showing would be too early, considering that the OS is very likely to only be launched in October.
Our observations on the many reports of the HTC Ace tells us that it is the Desire HD that will make an apearance and this latest information is making a Desire HD launch on September 15 an almost definite proposition.
Briefly listed on Amazon UK for sale was an item described as “HTC 99HLZ001-00 Ace/Desire HD”. Although the listing has since been removed, the item is a dead giveaway that the latest smartphone to come from HTC will, most probably, be running Android.
The Amazon listing also stated the price of the HTC Ace, £415 or about RM2080. This is very enticing considering the hardware the HTC Ace is reported to be including in its one piece aluminum shell. Allow us to refresh your memory: 4.3in WVGA screen (most probably of the SLCD kind), Froyo (Android 2.2), 8MP camera with 720p video recording, 1GHZ processor and 4GB on board memory. We are also speculating a dual-mic with noise cancellation to a part of the Ace’s arsenal based on the video that we’ve seen of the device. And if you’re wondering, from the pictures and video we’ve seen, we don’t think that there will be a secondary camera for video calling on the HTC Ace.
After the UK launch, the next question that will be on everybody’s minds is when will the new HTC come to Malaysia? We don’t have the details now but as always, keep it locked on to SoyaCincau.com to get the update on the latest HTC.

A couple of days ago, HTC sent a media teaser invite out for a launch event in London. As you can see in the picture above, there’s really not much detail about what’s going to be launched come September 15, apart from its going to be another smartphone (obviously).
But the invite did drop a clue as to how the smartphone would look like, and based on the many HTC prototypes and leaks that we’ve seen, it looks too much like the HTC Ace (aka Desire HD) that will be running Android.
Many other sites are not discounting the fact that the September 15 launch might be for a Windows Phone 7 device, that’s been enjoying it spade of leaks recently — the HTC Schubert.
Taking into consideration that Windows Phone 7 — the OS — launch is slated for sometime in October, we won’t be holding our breaths on a HTC Window Phone 7 powered device to make an appearance this early. But we’ll keep our eyes peeled on the latest developements. So keep it locked on to SoyaCincau.com for the latest in mobile news in Malaysia and all over the world!

We’ve been following the developments of the HTC Ace very closely and it’s looking to become one of the most anticipated devices to come from HTC to date.
For those of you are not familiar with the HTC Ace, it’s the codename for HTC’s next flagship Android device. Specs wise, nothing is confirmed yet but word has it that the Ace will record 720p HD videos, pack an 8MP camera, powered by 1GHz processor with 4GB on board memory and run Android 2.2 (FroYo). All this will be wrapped in a unibody aluminium body first seen on the HTC Legend.
It all looks very enticing indeed and now we have a video purported to be an early prototype of the HTC Ace which is slated to be called the HTC Desire HD when it hits the market reportedly this October.
The video reveals more details on the Ace, the front place looks very much like the HTC EVO and there’s a dual LED flash also like the HTC EVO. What’s interesting on the video is what we believe looks like a secondary mic located right next of the LED flash.
If you look carefully at minute 0:28 onwards, you’ll be able to see the secondary mic hole very clearly inboard of the LED flash. Overall it looks like a solid device that will definitely give the overrated iPhone 4 a run for its money.
Head on over to after the jump for the video presentation on the HTC Ace.

A picture of the rumoured Desire HD or better known as the HTC Ace has been leaked on a chinese site. Depending on how you look at it, this could either be a HTC EVO 4G without WiMAX or simply a bigger version of the HTC Desire.
Specification wise, it is rumoured to have a 4.3″ WVGA screen, Android 2.2 Froyo, 8MP Camera, 1GHz processor, 720p video recording, 4GB internal storage and a aluminium case.

We briefly wrote about the HTC Ace, the codename for the new a new device the company is purportedly working on.
Previously we got wind that the Ace would be a HTC EVO 4G sans WiMAX but this is not confirmed and there are two sides of the story. Another source claims that the HTC Ace is actually a Desire dressed in Droid Incredible clothes destined for European markets.
We’re more inclined to think that the upcoming Ace will be more like the EVO 4G then the Incredible, but it won’t be the EVO 4G exactly.
Why are we saying this? Because we’re seeing postings about an apparent leak of a new flagship device from HTC and that device is condenamed Ace. The “leaked” specs are very similar to what the EVO 4G is sporting right now. That means the Ace will very likely be packing a 4.3in WVGA screen, a 1GHz processor of the Snapdragon kind and an 8MP camera with 720p video.
In addition, the leak revealed that the new HTC flagship device will carry 4GB on board memory and run on FroYo.
In terms of construction, the leak mention that the new device will be constructed from a single billet of Aluminium simillar to the one on the HTC Legend. Launch date is slated in October.
Unfortunately the source has already brought down the post but we have a feeling that there’s some truth in the specs. So, could the HTC Ace actually be a Desire 2?
We can’t confirm at this moment in time but we’ll keep a close watch on developments to give you the latest.

With its 4.3-inch screen, 1GHz processor, 8MP main camera and 1.3MP secondary forward facing camera, HDMI out and a hefty 512MB RAM along with WiMAX capabilities, the HTC EVO 4G is arguably the world’s most advanced Android powered smartphone.
Unfortunately, it’s only available at the US at the moment.
But that could all change based on the current speculation doing its rounds in the Android world.
It seems that HTC’s director of global PR, Eric Lin, has dropped some clues indicating that the HTC EVO 4G could be destined for markets outside the US sans WiMAX and is codenamed Ace.
But, as always, there’s two sides of the story. While one source said that the HTC codename Ace is indeed HTC EVO without WiMAX, another source speculates that the Ace is nothing more than Droid Incredible repackaged for the international markets.
And as you may have already know, the Droid Incredible is essentially a HTC Desire, which is, already available here anyway.
So the case for the EVO is looking promising but both sources can’t confirm which device will eventually become the currently being developed HTC Ace.
The good news is, we will all apparently find out in October.
So stay tuned to SoyaCincau.com for the latest.
