Sometime last year Xiaomi launched their own WiFi enabled Air Purifier, and now they have just released a brand new water purifier that looks almost identical. Named the Mi Water Purifier, the water filtration device is aimed at getting you clean water fast without taking up too much space in the kitchen.
Xiaomi very recently teased that they were launching something super slim, releasing teaser images about this new device that looked a lot like a flatscreen TV. With that the super sleek Mi TV 2S is now official, which is claimed to be as thin as their Mi 4 smartphone which was launched last year. The TV is to feature 4K support as well as a unique super compact plughead which is a first for smart TVs.
Following Apple‘s refresher for the iPod shuffle and iPod nano with new colours, the brand has also brought a brand new updated iPod Touch that sports a better camera, processor and has the option to house a whopping 128GB of storage space. But this doesn’t bode well for iPod lovers as the only member of the family that can access Apple’s new music service is just the Touch, with the possibility of leaving the rest to fade into obscurity.

ZTE has come out with a hot new premium device that’s not from its Nubia series, but instead goes by the moniker Axon, which is something totally new coming from the brand.
In terms of design, it looks a lot like an early days HTC Desire or HTC One X but it comes with a premium metallic body in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver and Phthalo Blue and it also sports a dual camera configuration.
We’ve been hearing off and on that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is set to be launched soon, and according to new information it will be launched on August 12th, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+.
The report also brings to light some new details about the phones as well. For starters the Galaxy Note 5 will look like a larger version of the Galaxy S6 smartphone and won’t have a microSD slot, but will be home to a very thin bezel.
If you happen to have a Google account and be using an Android phone you might be having a problem on your hands, as its just been discovered that Google Photos will keep uploading your photos to the cloud even if you’ve deleted the app.
This is mostly because if you are using a Google account (which most people on the internet are likely to own) the entire system has a habit of zealously syncing everything you do with said account to you devices and any other service you use. Considering this is a huge privacy concern because it pretty much affects any Android device, there’s thankfully a way to stop Google Photos from continuing to save your data to the cloud.
Not too long ago we got treated to leaked product photos of the upcoming Moto G 2015, and now it seems we have leaked renders of the phone itself from all angles. While the images look close to the actual phone, just be aware that it isn’t confirmed to be official yet.
Mi Malaysia has just announced that the Redmi 2 Enhanced version will begin sale in Malaysia this Thursday starting 12PM, for RM 459 on Mi.com. It will be available in 2 colours – Dark Grey and White.
