Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A

The Redmi Note 5A has finally arrived in Malaysia. Announced less than 2 months ago in China, this Xiaomi’s new budget phablet with a 5.5″ display.

At the moment, they are only bringing the standard Redmi Note 5A model which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. It has a 5.5″ HD 720p display and it runs on a Snapdragon 425 Quad-Core processor.

For taking pictures, it has a 13MP f/2.2 main camera with PDAF while the front comes with a 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Juicing up the Redmi Note 5A is a 3,080mAh battery which charges via micro USB.

This is also a dual-SIM device and it comes with its own dedicated slot for microSD expansion up to 128GB. Over at the top, there’s an infrared blaster which you can use as a universal remote.

The Redmi Note 5A is officially priced at RM549 and it comes in either Gold or Dark Grey. It is available now on the Mi Online Store, authorised Mi Store at Queensbay Mall, Penang and other authorised resellers throughout Malaysia.
