My problem with external storage devices is that I’m always worried that I’ll break them. Since I chuck them into backpacks and carry them around with me a lot, the chances of me dropping one are a lot higher than a hard disk that’s mounted in a desktop PC for example.
So, while I love the idea of being able to carry all my stuff around with me, I am not a fan of having breaking that hard disk and losing all my data.
And this is where Western Digital’s My Passport external SSDs come into play. They come packed with one of my favourite features ever — shock resistance. Fingers of butter, meet your match.

With its new .heic file extension, it will work fine with any iOS 11 device but it can be a problem when you share its original image file to an Android or even your desktop PC. Read on to find out how you can overcome this incompatibility issue.

Love it or hate it, Samsung’s Bixby assistant is still here to stay. The extra button found on the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note8 makes it easier to trigger Bixby but there are those who find it annoying as it is often mistaken for the volume down button.
For those who don’t want to use this feature, Samsung has finally released an official solution. You can finally disable the one press Bixby key after receiving a software update.
