The Galaxy Note8 will be announced next week at a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in New York city. With less than a week to go, the folks at AusDroid had obtained a copy of the Galaxy Note8 brochure for the Australian market. If you had doubts on the Galaxy Note8’s screen size and camera, this would confirm it all.
At this point, there’s not much surprises left since @evleaks had revealed the design and hardware of this upcoming flagship phablet. As shown in the brochure, the Galaxy Note8 will be having a 6.3″ QuadHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display that’s slightly bigger than the Galaxy S8+.
You also get an S Pen, iris scanner, fast wireless charging and IP68 dust/water resistance. In terms of camera, we already know that the Galaxy Note8 will feature dual-camera lens and now it’s confirmed that it will have 2X optical zoom similar to the iPhone 7 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 6.
In terms of sensor, it looks like Samsung is retaining a Dual-Pixel sensor as its current flagships with a f/1.7 aperture lens along with optical image stabilisation. Unfortunately, there’s no further info of its secondary lens for telephoto.
Colour wise, the Australian market appears to be getting 2 options – Black and Gold, at time of launch. This could be the same arrangement for the first batch in Malaysia. If you’re looking for something different, there’s also a Deep Sea Blue model which was recently shared by @evleaks. This might be released a couple of months later similar to the Galaxy S8’s Coral Blue version.

The Galaxy Note8 launch is happening on 23 August 2017 at 11PM Malaysian time. Since Malaysia is a key market, we believe pre-orders should be available locally not too long after launch. We’ll be covering the event, so stay tuned to us for the latest updates.
